Snowball Arcade

This morning I watched out the window as Sam and Zoe walked down the driveway to catch the school bus. I knocked on the window and waved good bye. Turning around to see me, Sam responded by bending down and grabbing a big handful of snow, which he promptly rolled into a ball and threw toward my smiling face. The snowball veered to the right, missing my window by about 10 feet. Laughing, I stuck my hands, fingers outspread, to my ears and wiggled them at him. Zoe laughed as Sam picked up more snow, pelting the house, snowballs flying to my left and right. My face danced in the window. More snowballs. Until finally, one came right at the window, causing us all to jump and cheer. Good start to the day!
